Sidenote
Allow me to take a brief detour and share with you a project the Purdue IDSA chapter just completed with Hon Furniture. 24 concepts in 48 hours, five teams, locked in studios, technical failures, confused newbies, tons of food and tons of experience. Big thanks to Faraz Shah and everyone at Hon. My team's book.

After a summer of indecisiveness and uncertainty I have arrived with much satisfaction at the conclusion to design a piece of furniture that meets the unique and shifting needs of collegiate students and young singles.
Yet to follow will be postings of several of the images and products that have been, and will be, influencing my design. Already, in the few weeks I have been searching and collecting opinions, I have found these three attributes to be of particular importance: Ergonomic, Intuitive, and Portable

Thus starts the Succession
Greetings! Just as the page says my name is Ben Rodgers and I am a senior studying Industrial and Interaction Design at Purdue University.
